Welcome to BobAndChris.com!Who Are Bob And Chris?Bob and Chris met one week before Valentine's Day 1997 in San Diego, California and have been together pretty much every since then, making it 12 years and counting as of this writing. We currently share our home in Burbank, California with 2 very spoiled cats, 3 Blood Parrot Cichlids, one extremely over sized albino pleco and way too many guppies. On Friday, August 29, 2009 we celebrate our 11th Wedding Anniversary. While the original wedding 11 years ago may not have been "legal" in the eyes of the State, it was "official" in the our eyes and the eyes of our friends and family that attended (or couldn't attend but sent their love to) the ceremony in Escondido, CA. On July 24, 2008 we had our "paper" wedding in West Hollywood, CA and got married legally in the State of California. It was just a very small ceremony - the officiant, the two of us and my brother to witness and take pictures, all in a small park a couple of blocks from the WeHo City Hall. However, we are now "official" - at least in California - and are hoping to join with others to push for Federal recognition of our marriage to get the equal rights we deserve under the 1,300 some odd federal laws and tax codes. Thanks to the California Supreme Court's decision regarding Prop 8, we are now officially the proud(?) owners of a "Collector's Edition"
Marriage Certificate. While we are happy to have our marriage intact,
we are fighting mad that others are not able to solemnize their
relationship the way we were able to. Therefore we keep fighting for
full Equal Marriage in the United States for ALL citizens. To keep up

There's lots here, some interesting, some not - I guess it depends on your mood and level of caring :) We posted it because we liked it, but it's up to you to decide whether or not to actually look at it. We have Google Analytics installed to tell us how traffic is doing, so if nobody is looking at some pages we'll re-arrange things and try to update with new content as time permits. Of course, running our own company, selling art work, maintaining a relationship, spoiling to cats and being activists all keeps pretty busy, so don't expect updates too often, but we'll do what we can! |
